Summary

Knoppix is probably the most famous of any LiveCD. It provides a comprehensive set of tools, and the ability to perform almost any task. It has more derivatives than any other single LiveCD, and currently has four books being published.

4.0 Currently the LinuxTag edition is out, which default to German, but can be booted in Engligh by using the "knoppix lang=us" cheat code. There is also an English remaster of this with Qemu floating around, but there are reports that it does not boot. Both can be found at popular linux BitTorrent Trackers.
